We ran an experiment with software engineers to learn more. Coding with AI led to a decrease in mastery—but this depended on how people used it.

I’m tired of low-IQ AI influencers using lottery-ticket vague prompts to generate flashy demos, cherry-picking the one decent-looking result. Post it as if it’s some groundbreaking “vision of the future”.
This completely skips the complex parts: defining constraints, understanding real user needs, reasoning about structure, interaction, and feasibility.
