@LouG74 @armani_lingo8 It would have probably cost them seats in the end and to spend millions for one or two World Cups in the stadiums lifetime would be silly, but I did have the same question haha

@armani_lingo8 Why wouldn't they design the field big enough in the first place? The World Cup was awarded back in 2018, which means the bid started years before that, so they knew that it was a possibility. Odds are high World Cup comes back around in 2038.

I know Allegiant Stadium couldn’t host World Cup matches because of FIFA’s field-size requirements, but imagine fans from all over the world descending on Las Vegas. The atmosphere would be unreal, and I think people would be blown away by just how incredible the stadium is ⚽️

@Left4Red14 @LasVegasLocally It's too hot outside, uncomfortable for travel, unless the whole city was under a "dome", hence why Qatar could only host during winter, fans like to have outdoor activities, not just hotel to stadium and back
