@MihoyoFan01 @Elm2026 @NIKKE_en $60 isn't the standard anywhere even in more successful gachas, Nikke started the trend and only really Brown Dust 2 followed afaik, but my god do they put in so much more effort than Shift Up for the price. Also Tencent money was a huge factor in Nikke taking off, donut forget

@mtem88 @NIKKE_en I just try not to think about what I've spent overall the same way I never thought about what I spent at arcades as a kid; was it way too much over years? Probably, but I don't regret it if the times were good... I just think $60 should be getting us 2 skins at least is all

@LewdMatters @NIKKE_en I agree. I have more gacha skins than I'd like to admit. The one's I've skipped I both feel proud and regret for having the discipline to pass lol. You're right in saying that our enjoyment mainly comes from horny, so having these skins satisfies that itch.. such a cash grab tho

@vanfokerdumple1 @Kaname_1304 @smartz118 @NIKKE_en Something people miss (amongst many other things) is that regularly priced $60 skins that can't be won with farmable currencies isn't really the standard in gachas, Nikke is a pioneer in this and the high norm is like $30-ish.

@LewdMatters @smartz118 @NIKKE_en Mostly yes, every now and then I splurge but I’m generally pretty lucky. Never took me more than 100 pulls to get one copy of a Nikke. I got MLB Neon in 50 pulls and MLB Anis in 70

@vanfokerdumple1 @mtem88 @NIKKE_en I think Brown Dust 2 set the standard for skins in the costume gacha price range (which as I understand just followed Nikke's lead), where you're not just getting maximized fanservice but the lobby's interactive to the point of becoming lewd mini games. Shift Up just gives less.

@mtem88 @LewdMatters @NIKKE_en Not everyone is here for the story. Many are playing for the fanservice, like me. Gacha skins are one of the worst ideas to be implemented. Prices should be kept reasonable, so these skins can be enjoyed by as many people as possible. Shift Up needs to stop being so greedy.
