In 2023, the African Centre for Strategic Studies pointed out that over 40 million people have been displaced by conflicts across the continent. Directly and indirectly, millions have been killed in Africa, and more will die if we continue turning a blind eye. Sub-Saharan Africa has been a tension point with multiple wars and conflicts ongoing involving military juntas, militias and Islamic radicalists looking to seize control of territory. Africa is a continent at war, and we tend to distract ourselves from the realities at home. Before you take out the wood chip in your neighbour's eye, first take out the log in your own eye.

@Osint613 The problem with this assessment is the fact that Iran assumes it can outlast the U.S in this war. It believes it has the upper hand once the U.S public mounts pressure on Trump to exit the war.

The IRGC is trying to use Hezbollah as a negotiating asset. The correct response from the US is to turn that asset into a liability. U.S. should tell Iran: Your proxy fires on Israel and we walk from the deal. Iran senses weakness and is exploiting it. This needs to stop immediately.
