Similar story for me I am the reason hijab was allowed for Muslim students in DCC Prior to admission they told me they don’t allow Muslims to wear hijab to school, I stood my ground wore it to school on my first day and I told them if they have a problem they should pick it up with my parents. They didn’t disturb me and other Muslims started wearing hijab after
