Screaming Bloody Murder turns 15 this year. For better and for worse, this was a crazy time in our lives. A big chunk of it was written in a rented house in the Hollywood Hills — working and partying through the whole process. We ended up touring it for three and a half years, longer than any album we'd ever done before or after. At the start of that cycle we were on fire. By the end, we'd become a dumpster fire. Even with all the turmoil, it's still one of our favorites.  If you want to go deeper on this era, we made a documentary about the making of this album called Don't Try This At Home. It's on YouTube

How Josh Anderson been playing all series. Those are the ones you kill off for a player. You can say it was dumb with 2min left but something needed to be done.. Anderson been going after skill all series.

Fat lip — 25 years! The song that changed our lives forever. Some songs come quick and easy and others are struggle. This one was the latter. I worked on this song for a good year or more before I even mentioned it or showed it to anyone in the band. I actually felt kind of embarrassed by it for a long time. But in all honesty it wasn’t really working for a long time either. It took a lot of work and maneuvering to fit all the parts together and make it feel natural and not 5 different songs cut and pasted together. It all finally came together when Dave, Stevo and I wrote the rap verse lyrics together. That’s when we knew we had something that represented. It said everything about who we were and where we came from. The video of course was a blast. A video that had no real treatment written. It was basically a 2 day documentary where everything that happens in it happened on the spot. I’ll always be grateful for this song and all the great things that came from it. An early example of why you should always Stay Persistent.

This is insane. @KidRock primary get-in was cut from $63.90 to $26.63. But TM Resale “Face Value” listings are STILL anchored to the original $63.90. So basically Kid Rock is allowed to drop his price to $26 while fans are still stuck trying to resell at $63. And this happened across his entire tour.

I went to see Eddie Vedder live. First of all, I want to thank CREATIVEMAN PRODUCTIONS CO. I truly appreciate them for booking Eddie’s Japan show at Festival Hall. Thank you so much. I was able to experience the soul of America. And the sound at Festival Hall was absolutely incredible. I could hear every single string clearly—the Strat, the Gibson, the Martin, the mandolin, and the ukulele—and from such a close distance. Eddie was so funny and kind, like pure soul itself, charisma embodied. I sincerely thank everyone involved.

Today’s the 30th anniversary of RATM’S um, ‘memorable’ performance on SNL. There was a fight onstage between our crew and SNL stage hands moments before our performance, wrestling over some upside down American flags which adorned our amps. Timmy C then attacked host/billionarie/presidential candidate Steve Forbes’ family in the dressing room with a wadded up flag. Secret Service flooded the hallways. SNL cut (censored?) our second song and kicked us out onto the sidewalk. Evil Empire entered the Billboard Album Chart at #1.
