What a mad day! From finding my daughter taking a seizure in the street whilst walking the dog this morning to winning a cup. Mentally and emotionally exhausted. Couldn't be more happy to see @imried7 lift that cup after the year him lauren and the family have been through 💙❤️

@LowDivScout To be fair Jacks been waiting a couple of weeks for it. Maybe he’s not a lover of Italian beer. 😁

🔵⚫️MEN OF THE MATCHES🔵⚫️
You wait for one and along comes two!!
Kori Howard picked up the award, as chosen by Friends of Girvan and Committee member Tommy McCrindle, for this weekends match v St Anthony’s. It was a disappointing result however Kori was a stand out for us in difficult conditions.
Jack Marks was chosen by Del Findlay as MOTM for the home fixture v Glasgow Perthshire, however he hadn’t been rewarded for another terrific performance in a Girvan shirt.
Well done lads. 👏🏼👏🏼💙🖤

@PLZSoccer @PeterMsport Let the kids play? Tell the SFA that. A team who travelled many miles, 2 weeks ago were told their game wouldn't go ahead due to them not having a first aider, even altho the ref was a first aider, and the oppo coaching staff, 4 of them all were too. Let them play ha!

🗣️ 'These kids are coached to death, they need to take the structure away and just let them play.'
Gordon Parks and @PeterMsport want to see footballers play with risk again.
Do we have less flair players today?

🚨Francesco Totti on Italy’s national football team missing THREE World Cups in a row ❌🇮🇹:
🗣️Totti: “The last Italy team I remember at the World Cup… they were warriors. Men of determination, focus, and sacrifice. There were no distractions, no obsession with image, no need to live on social media. Just football, just pride, just responsibility to the badge.”
“That 2014 team were like the Romans in history; disciplined, feared, and respected. That was when Italy was truly Italy.”
“Today, it pains me to say, we have lost that identity. Too many players are comfortable, too distracted by fame, by tattoos, by the celebrity lifestyle. The focus is gone, the hunger is fading.”
“And now we face the ultimate embarrassment—missing the World Cup THREE times in a row. For a nation like Italy, this is not just failure… it is humiliation. Because talent alone is never enough. Without mentality, without discipline, without pride… you have nothing”
