It’s late March and it’s obvious the #MATCHSeries is not happening this year. @JerseyTom would like to thank all who have participated. It was well worth it. Pictured is Fille d’Esprit, who finished second in standings but was @MarylandTB Horse of Year, older mare & sprinter.

Fille d’Esprit, a 2022 #MATCHSeries division champ, is the champion @MarylandTB older mare, sprinter, and Horse of Year for 2022. Congrats to No Guts No Glory Farm, CJI Phoenix Group, @JRobbRacing and @AnnasBandit

Fille d’Esprit won the 2022 #MATCHSeries F&M Sprint division, and then the MD Million Distaff, and then the Politely S. @LaurelPark. Afterwards, trainer John Robb called it “MATCH Plus.” Thanks to @JRobbRacing and everyone who supported the #MATCHSeries this year. (Jerry D. 📷)

Note on standings: Beren and English Tavern must start at Parx Oct. 3 to qualify for a share of bonus money. (3 starts required) The others do qualify. Bonus money paid to top 3 in each division with another bonus to owner and trainer of horse with most points overall.

Deciding Vote, the only horse to have raced in all 4 #MATCHSeries legs, is the overall leader heading into final leg Oct. 3 at Parx. Overall championship is up for grabs. Might depend on who shows up.
