Junior debaters enjoyed a day @ScottishTUC as guests of @STUC_Schools Watching as Congress debated a motion to tackle rising fascism in society, @HumzaYousaf delivering his speech. And then took part in an event with a debate aimed at raising awareness of Unions in schools.

The referendum count is in. Thanks to Ben and Jak for the count. The result found that there were 73 votes cast. Those votes are as follows; Yes - 55 N0 - 5 Spoilt papers - 5 This was an activity to allow pupils and parents to make informed decisions, based on multiple sources.

Delighted to be selected by members of @AirdrieShottSNP as their Westminster by-election candidate 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💛 It was a little surreal to be informed during lunchtime, and then walk into a S1 Modern Studies class to teach the role of an MP and start preparation for our mock election 🗳
