We believe communities hold the key to a malaria-free future, and we are proud to support their efforts through Indoor Residual Spraying. These and many happy, healthy children confidently ride to school, knowing their community is committed to their health and well-being.

Today marks the start of the 2023 IRS campaign across all 14 operational districts in the Upper West and East Regions, with communities leading the the fight against malaria. AGAMal's return to their homes has been met with great excitement. #timetodeliverzeromalaria

AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Malaria Control in partnership with Ghana Health Service trained 680 Community Advocates across Upper West and Upper East in the course of this week to equip them with skills in community education and community-led monitoring.

As part of the preparations for the 2023 IRS Campaign, training for 834 spray operators and team leaders across 14 districts in the Upper West and Upper East Regions started on March 21st. Gender inclusion is increasing as more female spray operators are recruited and trained.

We held a 3-day onboarding session in Wa from March 7 to 9th, for 73 MLOs to prepare them for the 2023 Indoor Residual Spraying campaign. In attendance were the Program Director, Sam Asiedu, Kenneth Yeboah (CCM), Issaka Abubakari (NMEP) and Dr. Punguyire (Upper West Director,GHS)

We are excited to announce that our 2023 Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) campaign officially kicks off on March 27 and is expected to protect approximately 1.2 million people across all sixteen (16) operational districts in the Ashanti, Upper West, and Upper East Regions.
