We handed out our JASS Bronze Awards today. I was particularly impressed with the varied evidence this year: very well done! Running app screenshots, notes from coaches and videos of skills learnt were just a few. The children raised so much money for charity too! @jasschools
Despite the pandemic, I am so pleased we still managed to take our JASS children climbing this year. We'll be cheering on Shauna! @jasschools. I might be a little biased, but I think every child should give climbing a go at least once. 💪🧗♂️

Buckton Vale cannot wait! We have two Y5 children ready and raring to go...up that S-bend hill...😅🏃🏾♂️🏃🏻♀️. Miss Ingram @HazelBV2 and Mr Williams @Inspire_S_Coach are also itching to take part!
Mr Payne has been training with Team GB athlete, Andy Robertson, today! @arobertson100 We'll pretend it was training involving running. We'll try and get him into school or have a Zoom session at some point to inspire all our budding athletes! 🏃🏼♂️ @BucktonValePS@Inspire_S_Coach
Over the last couple of weeks, we have had a big push for the Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS) at Buckton Vale. It is extra-curricular and voluntary, yet we already have a whopping 45 signed up for next year - just from Y5 and Y6. Fantastic! @jasschools@BucktonValePS
Our Y5s had a great time learning about bike and road safety the week before last. Their attitude and determination were absolutely superb! Well done Y5! Thank you to the National Cycling Academy for excellent training. @ncagb@tamesidessp@BucktonValePS
@tamesidessp@BucktonValePS Well done to Y4 and Y5/6 for taking part in the Santa Dash this week! We chose to do it on Christmas Jumper Day to make it that little bit more festive! Great to see everyone keeping active.
Remember, remember, the 5th of November... We didn't want a thing like Covid19 to get in the way of us remembering Bonfire Night! Stay safe tonight and enjoy any fireworks from a safe distance 🎆🎇. @BucktonValePS
