Today, we pause to remember the extraordinary courage of the Filipino and American soldiers who stood their ground in 1942. Their sacrifice isn't just a chapter in our history books—it is the very foundation of the freedom we enjoy today.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.’” — 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 11:25-26

Mapúans, 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒚 reminds me that the silence of the wait isn't empty, it's preparatory. Even when nothing seems to be happening, there is a purpose in the pause. The breakthrough is coming, but for now, we wait in hope.

On this 𝑴𝒂𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒚 𝑻𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚, we remember Christ’s example of humility. May we continue fostering kindness within the Mapúa academic community.

Palm Sunday is the final Sunday of Lent, the beginning of Holy Week, & commemorates the triumphant arrival in Jerusalem, days before He was crucified. God’s intention was always forgiveness for His people, and Jesus came to earth as a sacrifice on our behalf & savior from death.
