'The left' is a rhetorical abstraction. Who holds the power is the heavily jewish liberal-left elite from the 70s-00s who have assumed power as the new managerial class and are using classic Eurocommunism/New Left ideology (sexual/racial minorities plus students are the revolutionary class) combined with 'ethical capitalism' (basically the also heavily jewish oligarchs/tech bro elites of modernity) to create their own populist following (manufacturing consent) based on a patron-client relationships and the distribution of patronage (benefits/EBT/Medicaid plus positions/funding/DEI/reparations) to that revolutionary class (sexual/racial minorities plus students) aka the Green Party and the Democrats. The goal is to basically create a world in the West like that imagined by the series 'Altered Carbon' with a heavily jewish and degenerate capitalist and managerial elite living in their literal or heavenly Jerusalem (maximum libertinage run by a powerful minority bound together by direct/racial family/identity and personal allegiance [like with Zionism today] like the mafia/gangs [think classic Arab politics like how Ba'athist Syria used to work]) while the bulk of the population is a multi-racial mish-mash of client blocks controlled, pushed into conflict with one another and/or suppressed by those elites (slavery without the encumbrance of responsibility required by actual slavery [Marxian wage slavery in the true sense of the term]; basically work 'em, break 'em, discard 'em [aka the modern tech bro capitalist vision of the 'world is flat' and 'globalism'] with some publicly funded/charitable sops to create the illusion of some kind of care). Aka Brazilification.
