Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass’ Mesmeric Mythology The Quay Brothers’ version of Bruno Schulz’s Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass is equivocal and bursting with plump metaphors ripe for interpretation. – @onenotthenumber READ: tinyurl.com/SanatoriumQuay

@Author_PCorrell @Riknight36 Yes, the book - Richard Adams also wrote "Girl in a Swing". Great book, not so great movie. But Meg Tilly is always great...

@tracey_thorn I feel a lot of music reviewers, especially from NME, back in the day could be quite nasty. I always wondered if it was because of some personal grudge the reviewer had against the artist. Walking Wounded always gets checked as an electronic classic, so that's certainly something

I'm interested in current artists responses to bad reviews (there's a story here today) and I think about how RARE and GENTLE bad reviews are nowadays. I was reminded just the other day that EBTG's Temperamental got 1 out of 10 in the NME. Which is objectively just mad/hilarious!

@spheno_xiphoid Is it possible for your symptoms in your sinuses (including the ears) to become worse when you start taking probiotics, as well as NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) and Allicin? I notice some congestion in the sinuses, as well as ears, after taking them...

@wh0bryce I've used Lymphdarial and oil of oregano myself. I'm not sure if the Lymphdarial worked, though. I'm using Allicin and probiotics now, also NAC. What were your symptoms with ETD were like?

@MatutinalLife Not really! I find it was caused by Mold and pollutants.. I have been using Oil of Oregano, Lymphdiaral (Homeopathic Oil), Peroxide in Ear when its really bad.. Also bought an Air Purifier for my place and it definitely helped. Still have issues around VOCs and Mold.

The vagus nerve controls the levator veli palatini (LVP) muscle which opens the eustachian tube. Ideally this permits the flow of air and the draining of fluid into the throat. A dysfunctional vagus nerve will prevent this from occurring. Stagnant fluid and a lack of fresh air will then provide an environment for infection or irritation.

the vagus nerve goes crazy. i kept thinking i had an ear infection but it was literally just my vagus nerve being very tight and inflamed due to long term stress

@spheno_xiphoid @Tiger_Lily36 I see what you mean...in this case, you're talking probiotics (and prebiotics)? If so, can you recommend a particular kind that would be beneficial to a eustachian tube problem?

@MatutinalLife @Tiger_Lily36 Those things can help but what's most important is providing an environment, especially in the gut, that is going to be favorable for your autonomic nervous system as a whole. If not, you will be constantly fighting an uphill battle.
