@MerrellBears @kha1926 Very sad that PAC didn't figure that out sooner. Now there are 2 conferences looking weak in West, instead of at least one of them being strong. AAC fans have to be laughing their heads off over it.

PAC paid football money for a good mid-major basketball team. But Gonzaga is still just a mid-major, just like Boise who paid $18m to go from $5.6m/yr in the MWC to $6.5m/yr in the PAC over the next 6 years. Utah St was a better add! UNLV will get millions over the next 6 years😁

@UNLVRebelGrl @bresee_k @kha1926 They are probably one of the most successful basketball teams who are consistently in the tournament in the past 30 years, that’s no slam against anyone else…but they should be proud and are a welcome addition to the Pac.

@MerrellBears @bresee_k @kha1926 They've also never won a National Championship or been to as many Final Fours as UNLV Even though their D1 men's basketball program was started 63 years before UNLV's. So what's your point?

@bresee_k @kha1926 The Zags will be just fine….they don’t have the excitement of having a football team but they will continue to thrive in basketball, and that’s fun to see…I’d still be happy to see UNLV in the PAC, I think it’d be a great add because you’re competitive and regional, fun add.
