Even more so since legislation was passed that if it goes to court the insurance company does not have to pay legal fee

@Fxhedgers Undoubtedly many of those claims are for flood damage and homeowners doesn’t cover flood so it’s denied. This inflates the number. They won’t deny claims unless coverage is excluded in the policy.

While I agree with the basic premise that deterrence isn't solely determined by troop numbers alone, alliances also play critical roles. At least in military terms, deterrence, especially nuclear one, can't be matched by conventional forces or even an alliance with a nuclear power.
