@EverTrua_TTV @Twitch This sentiment is what is making me spend less time at Twitch and more over at @MoonbeamStream! Whilst its currently a smaller platform, at least a viewer is a viewer and the stuff they are working on shows they actually give a shit! Twitches recent changes seem so nonsensical!

@MoonbeamStream I don't use twitch at all because of the ads. Kick was the best option before you guys. If ads are necessary keep them in the chat like on X. That's where the "buyers" are at anyway.

My sources are telling me Twitch will no longer be counting views from people who are not watching your stream. This effectively means that if someone doesn't have your stream open, it won't count as a view.
