To someone who needs to hear this. I captured the 3h30m bus at last Sunday’s Two Oceans Marathon, arriving with 2 minutes to spare. Observe everyone in this video, and it should remove every excuse you have for not running. These are grandmothers, senior citizens, people of all categories, pushing themselves. One of us had travelled with her mother to see what her son does. What she saw left her feeling so young and challenged. Running, or any other mission, is first mental before it becomes physical. Decide, commit, focus, fail, go again, and succeed.
