School Spirit day this upcoming Thursday, May 30. Wear your beach attire!

Today we had a special visitor visit our classroom. We are learning about our emotions and strategies to help ourselves.

Here are some words we have been talking about in math. They are all connected to our study of probability.

We have been studying homophones!

We have been studying the prefixes “un” and “re” this week. Before sorting these words into the correct category we highlighted prefixes, base or root words and suffixes.

We had a good discussion about there, their and they’re this morning.

We are reviewing “oi and oy” sounds by playing a partner game.

Our next art project is underway!

We read a lovely book by Eve Bunting and then we drew pictures of our secret places and shared them with each other. Some of our secret places were inside and others were outside.

We made some toast with butter and jam! Now we are writing about the down the steps using precise language so someone else could follow our steps.

Thanks to all the classes that visited our Science Open House. We loved sharing our hamster cages with you!

We are joining a Science Centre webinar about eclipses!

We tried writing code today to guide our partners from the start to the bun to the hot dog and finally to the end.

We are ready for Room 15 to visit for our publishing party!

Some cute little hamsters appeared in our room this afternoon!
