Came back from the weekend to a wonderful surprise🦋...students were so excited to see the full journey of a caterpillar to butterfly! @Ms_Teves @deSalesTCDSB

One more to go🐛! While all of the other caterpillars made their chrysalis, the smallest caterpillar did not...After the long weekend it is finally ready to enter the chrysalis stage! We cannot wait to see the beautiful butterflies 🦋! @Ms_Teves @deSalesTCDSB

Sunshine means outdoor play☀️! Today we traced our shadows to see who’s shadow was taller and shorter. Then our students noticed that the chalks were getting shorter! We decided to compare their sizes and order them from shortest to tallest 😊! @Ms_Teves @deSalesTCDSB

Can you add water to a cloud without making it rain 🌧? Students took turns adding water to a “cloud” trying to NOT make it rain! @Ms_Teves @deSalesTCDSB

Our ☁️cloud☁️ inquiry is underway! Our kinders have been loving to learn about the rain🌧! We watched the water cycle in action right at our window! And surprisingly, most of us like the rain☔️😊! @Ms_Teves @deSalesTCDSB

Our kinders are continuing to learn how to decompose numbers...Today we used a number line to decompose the number 6! Since we have also been learning to make patterns, some of our friends decided to decompose and make a colour pattern !! @Ms_Teves @deSalesTCDSB

Sometimes books can’t be repaired 🙁... so we went on a letter hunt! 😊🔎✂️! Our friends were even engaging in math talk! “This letter has none”, “there are two”. They loved it !! @Ms_Teves @deSalesTCDSB
