Hello, my name is Gene. I founded NGKsSystems and I am a solo developer. I started this journey because I could not get a banner for YouTube that actually fit and displayed properly. I tried 100 different sites and apps, but none gave me the results I wanted. So I built my own app to do this seemingly impossible task. This was the first app I had ever built. It took forever just learning a fraction of what I needed to learn. In the end, it was a complete success. I was able to build something nobody else had. The app itself never made me a dime. @DanielSmidstrup So true, it can be hard to get to that 5m, but that is only the start, 90% of that initial 5m is not what X monitizes.

X is still a real opportunity. But it is not easy money. Most people quit before posts compound. It’s valuable if you can outwork the noise.

@Guronnimo Use your conversion rate to determine if you are giving away money. 1,000 active users and 950 are free tiers, your free is too good or your paid doesn't offer enough to cover the cost of a subscription.

Unpopular opinion: Distribution is more important than product quality.

Great work. I am doing the exact same thing as you. No investor money and no team. I am focused on desktop tools and a few other apps in areas I am interested in. Been learning and grinding for over a year. 4 or 5 are ready to debut very soon. Now if @elonmusk or Jeff Bezos wanted to help I would take it, but only to cover costs. Lol
