I have good news for anyone who's stressed out about a potential "nuclear war" breaking out. These supposed armageddon weapons that poison everything for centuries and turn everyone into deformed horror movie zombies don't actually exist. No nuclear bomb has ever been dropped. Hiroshima and Nagasaki never experienced any of these long-term poisoning/deformation effects we were told they would. They were just heavily carpet-bombed with regular bombs. They started rebuilding immediately after WW2, and are doing fine now, no horrifying after-effects to be found. Do extremely powerful bombs/weapons exist? Of course (I'm most concerned about DEW personally). But the "nuclear bomb" as we've been taught about in Hollywood movies, mainstream news headlines, and Netanyahu's decades of screeching about Iran...it's all just a fear-instillation tactic. They don't exist.
