As the world comes together for mental health support, here are some actions you can take today, - Express Gratitude: Gratitude can increase psychological wellbeing and improve self-esteem. - Prioritize Peacefulness: What do you need to experience moments of peace today? Whether it’s a break from screens, a nap, a workout class, or a healthy meal, make time for what your body needs! - Be A Source Of Support: Take time to ask a friend how they’re doing, know where the resources are on campus, and let your team know you believe their #MentalHealthMatters ❤️❤️❤️

Tomorrow we kick off our fifth Student Athlete Mental Health Week with 209 colleges and universities (252 including clubs and high schools) participating! Because of our Tyler, the Hilinski’s Hope journey started in football. We’ve been honored to watch all of our participating schools, families, friends, and communities make this week into something so much greater. This week has grown over the past five years to include all sports— and will impact an estimated 85,000 student athletes involved across 20+ sports and all 50 states. Hundreds of schools are offering resources to student athletes, holding discussions on mental health, and furthering a culture of vulnerability and community where their #MentalHealthMatters. While we might take opposing sides on the field, this week all of us will stand together. This week we state a unified message to our student athletes across the nation — #YouAreNotAlone.
