ppl seem to misunderstand this ep as katara reluctantly accepting her destiny. the lesson here was not "destiny doesn't exist" but rather that you have the power to shape it. katara was destined to marry *a* powerful bender but she had the choice of who. and she chose aang.+

Legend of Korra makes republic city seem like a grand collaborative effort between all 3 kingdoms and Aang to advance the world and then you read the atla comics and realize it’s fantasy Israel

I really wished we got a scene of Katara apologizing to Sokka over "You dont know her like I do" remark like im sure she did but Sokkas trauma is already shown so little I feel like a scene could've added a lot more
