Of course women are frequently targets of abuse because of their gender-expression (whether nonconforming or not) but now it’s increasingly often in the name of “gender-critical” “feminism” (read: misogynistic and transphobic hate)

Another stranger hurling insults at my wife on twitter goes to show exactly what trans folk and allies have said all along: transphobia makes the world shittier and less safe for everyone.
