The UK is increasing visa fees for Nigerians in April. The same UK that collected ₦746 million in deals during Tinubu's state visit. The same UK whose institutions hold billions in Nigerian stolen funds. They will take your money at the top. And charge you to come and look for it at the bottom. That is not a bilateral relationship. That is a business model

@oku_yungx @OmarUgonwanyi The problem is not Abia. The problem is the precedent. If Otti succeeds the excuse that Nigeria cannot work dies with his tenure. And a lot of people have built entire careers on that excuse. Same reason why people dislike Peter Obi

A young widow lost her house and savings to her in-laws after her husband died. This is not a new story. This is a Thursday morning story.
A Monday story. A story told every week in this country by women
whose names we never trend. Ochanya is trending. This widow is not. Both of them deserved better from the same system.

For you to even notice means that the ad is working. I recently found out something many people in marketing will not agree with! The algorithm seems to be favoring creatives with less perfection. People want to see the unfiltered raw content of your products, make it too salesy, they ignore and it won’t perform well

My wife works as a virtual assistant and earns in dollars, she said she can’t work with a Nigerian company and that has rubbed off on me

There’s a woman on my street who sells fruits. She just passed.
She had been sick for a long time, going in and out of the hospital.
But recently, she was getting better.
Then her mum fell ill and was hospitalized.
She went to visit her at the hospital, saw her and suddenly slumped.
She died right there.
Someone who went to visit the sick, ended up not coming back.
Life is so unpredictable.
Rest in peace to the dead 💔💔💔

The woman who failed to protect Ochanya got five months.
The man accused of abusing her
was acquitted.
The son accused of starting the abuse
is still free.
And the little girl who should be twenty years old today in university becoming the doctor she said she wanted to be
is in a grave in Benue State.
That is Nigeria’s child protection system
in full operation.
Frame it. Put it on the wall of every government office that handles women and children.
Let them see it daily.
