@MashirosFan I feel like him and his wife living a modest but peaceful life in their own little bubble, then having that bubble "popped" by an act of senseless violence would be a great parallel to chihiro. Might also explain what Yura said during the rakuzaichi.

If his wife being dead is all there is to his backstory, it aint gonna cut it. A dead wife can't justify all the grooming and killing someone who "Doesnt want unecessary deaths" or "Wants to bring back order in the country" does. Unless she gave him legendary neck, i hate it.

@mygchaery @grimgoated I feel like part 1 was all about Chihiro confronting the sins of the past, so having Akemura be the "final boss" of those sins works. But Yura represents a potential future, so I can't really see a world where he's not the final test of Chihiros' ideals.

@ShadzMangaOnly I do like that Yuji at some point figured out "Wait why even bother with a domain clash?" and just maims his opponents hands. It shows that he's different from sukuna, gojo, ryu, etc, in that he takes no joy in fighting

I think this was intended as a clear Yuji Gojo parallel.
Mahito tried to expand his Domain & then Yuji effortlessly dominated the space.
Gege mirrored Gojo's first real showcase/lesson to Yuji to convey to us that Yuji is now at that level..
'Yuji... get strong enough to beat something like that' & he did..

isnt just crazy that what gets chihiro to finally freaking contemplate getting good with a sword for real is hakuri. not anything else. because he wants to match up to hakuri. and be what hakuri desires. like i genuinely cannot think of a heterosexual explanation
