This is flawed because it used states. Inside each Igbo state you will find Igbo tribes mixing up due to migration and counter migration that happened over time. In Orumba North you'll find Aro people there same in Imo and the list continues.. However, your main idea hold, you can use an Igbo name to tell the Igbo tribes they came from and even use it to draw a map of migration. Daalụ kwa.

By certain Igbo names, i can easily guess which part of Igbo or Sub they came from. Kalu - Definitely Bende people of Abia State (Ohafia, Abiriba, Nkporo, Item e.t.c.) Kanu - Umuahia precisely Kamalu - Abia Amadi - Imo or Rivers (Etche or Ikwerre) Okoye - Anambra ChukwuUdeNwaAro - Enugu Nwenyanwu - Enugu Ukpai - Abia or Ebonyi Ogbonnaya - Enugu Onwumere - Enugu or Imo Ekwensi - Asaba or Anioma

Those who know me are waiting to see my Biafra Memorial write-up. Some will still call me tomorrow, but the truth is that I say hard things because life is hard. What I will say for 2026 is this: you cannot leave a war unfinished. Someone may be defeated for the rest to move forward. And I am writing to my people—the war never ended. It will end the day we are defeated and crushed, or the day we usurp the British powers that be. The Nigerian military (a remnant of the colonial West African Frontier Force) is threatening us not to hold memorial services, but their threats are nothing compared to what has happened before. Be that as it may, today we will remember many things, but we should not forget this: THE WAR NEVER ENDED. Give Nigeria and Nigerians another chance, and they will bring war to us again. As we remember, let us not forget this: "THE ARMY YOU SEE KILLING AND KIDNAPPING PEOPLE IN THE BUSHES WILL SURROUND US AND MARCH TOWARDS BIAFRA LAND, WHICH WILL BE THE FINAL SHOWDOWN." — Mazi Nnamdi Kanu So, as we remember, we should not forget to make ourselves resilient and prepare ourselves mentally and otherwise, because THE WAR IS STILL ON.

My uncle called me to help him pick up some things he ordered. This man had gone on TEMU and ordered almost the whole store 😂😂😂 When I got there, I met the delivery guy, who quickly attended to me after I showed proof of the package. Before I could even leave, my uncle showed up. He parked his car and rushed over. I said, “Oh, you are here. Oya, let’s go.” He looked at me and said, “Go where? I have to check if they actually brought everything I ordered.” I was like, “Uncle, this is embarrassing o, people are watching 😭 At least do it inside your car.” Before I could even finish talking, my uncle had already torn open the nylons and brought out a paper to start confirming everything one by one 😂 At that point, I just gave up. When he finally finished checking everything, he shook the delivery guy’s hand proudly. I looked at all the clothes and packages and asked, “Uncle, what is going on? Why did you order all these?” This man looked at me and said, “This is my new hobby” 😂😂😂

I remember when a young man of 34 years approached me for marriage, he was honest enough to open up to me that he is a single father of two from two different women. I looked him in the eyes and I told him plainly that I can’t avoid teenager pregnancy only to end up with second hand.
