We've been keeping an eye on Multiplayer Ranked Play discussions and we wanted to provide some clarity regarding conversations we've seen popping up around SR losses at higher Ranks. In Black Ops 7, we made it a goal to deliver the definitive Ranked Play experience for players, and that includes ensuring that Ranked Play, and the Top 250 Leaderboard by extension, is a skill-based competitive system and not a "time-played" mode. This means we are directly combating SR inflation by having tighter expectations for players at the highest Ranks. The higher your SR, the more our systems expect you to win, with the highest Ranks and the Top 250 Leaderboard expecting win rates in the 75%+ range. Losses well above the 10k SR threshold will hurt, ensuring that players sitting high in the Top 250 are those who've demonstrated consistently high win percentages over a large number of matches during the Season. We’re watching, reading, and listening to your feedback regarding Ranked Play and the SR system. Our goal is, as always, to make sure the best players rise to the top doing what they do best: winning with competitive integrity.

What do I have to do to get a ranked hardpoint mannn. Every game is snd or overload

@PMerrOP I think the system is working as intended and people losing a lot is because they are over ranked

People are complaining about SR losses but doesn’t it make sense for 3 wins to be the equivalent of one loss? Winning a game and losing a game shouldn’t be 1 to 1 or am I tweaking?

@LachVsTheWorld True I suppose. I will say though, if it’s 50/50 on people getting screwed by losing more SR than they should vs getting blessed by gaining more SR than they should, I’ll pick the extra gains every single time. It’s simply more enjoyable that way

@PMerrOP Yes but if those 2 teammates are getting that same treatment they will be in inflated ranks. After what people are saying it should be about 1:1

Day one of ranked and I was already unable to que with the people I’ve played with for years. I’m so tired of playing with Nathan Nothumbs and Lobotomy Larry every other game when I could be playing with the boys

@LawrenceMetten @MaTtKs @TreyarchCM Can someone explain to me why we don’t have either a 4v4 only ranked que if it’s not going to be allowed in crimson+? I want to play with the boys and only the boys. Team cod is SO much different than playing with randoms. This is so boring.

It truly can’t be difficult. And if not that, then why not make it so you can only que solo, duo, or with a 4 stack (to prevent 3 + a solo, since that always sucked). Hell, make it so 4 stacks can only go against two duos. There are so many ways to make this work
