In 2024 we embarked on an exciting new part of the Project in collaboration with @Sydney_Uni, @UNSW and @Flinders University. The aim is to quantify the environmental changes from the restoration works by comparing pre and post-restoration conditions. @anaoceano @aguiarfdeb

Tis' the season to be a gobbleguts. So, introducing another resident in our waters, the Eastern Gobble Guts aka Vincentia novaehollandiae. Here we see the male carrying the eggs in its mouth until they are ready to be released.

Over the next few months we will be highlighting the many marine species that live within the habitats we are restoring. Kicking off with a crowd favourite, the Octopus!
