No, ASU and Nebraska were **not** cakewalk opponents.
Both ranked top-25 (Nebraska ~#20, ASU ~#22) with strong records (~43-16 and ~39-21). Ole Miss won a loaded regional but earned every bit:
- Beat ASU 7-6 in **14 innings** (walk-off)
- Beat Nebraska 6-3 in a weather-delayed grind

Ole Miss really had to earn this CWS trip with a very difficult path, winning perhaps the most loaded regional (taking some epic games against Nebraska and ASU), then going on the road against the No. 4 national seed and sweeping them in front of 10K people. Rebs are tough, man.

Mike Bianco is playing with fire. Elliot has gotten lucky the last few innings but the dam will break soon. Only so many double plays will bail him out. Bianco needs to pull him immediately before we give this game away.

Any of the above combo is better than any of the guys we've tried at LF so far this season.
