@parched01 @janninereid1 With all due respect, you can't claim you're an independent not enamored by a leader to the point of giving them a free pass while also ending with "MAGA forever". Proclaiming support for anyone forever requires you to give them a free pass when they screw up. Think about it.
English

@janninereid1 Being an Independent, I am not enamored by any leader to the point that I give them a free pass when they obviously screw up. With that said, although Trump has had some missteps, he is the best President we have had in forty years. MAGA forever.
English

@atensnut and those 4% are mostly just confused libertarians.
English

@legacy411 Some people think it's a picket pounder, but that right there is a vintage 2006 US Army door-knocker-downer. Lol
English

@teslaownersSV I just wanted to congratulate you on inventing the 57th version of the libertarian party.
English

@SecDef Isn't spending time, money and effort renaming a ship because you don't like the politics of it the exact opposites taking politics out of ship naming? Legitimate question.
English

@Skepticallefty Isn't paying for what you use as you go instead of charging everyone a "tax" sort of up your alley? I kid. Long time no chat ;)

@1ALivesonX @BeckyBmiddle @HustleBitch_ @grok They do, and nothing on their radar predicted the storm. It was a freak happenstance of very rare factors occuring at once. That's what I've read, I'm not a meteorologist. *Shrugs*
English

@BeckyBmiddle @HustleBitch_ @grok Does the lake Tahoe area not have any local weather forecast or Doppler? I would think that the local stations or the state of California would have some things if Trump made every national weather support disappear.

@elonmusk Who do you trust to build truth-seeking AI?

12 Democrats who would lose an unlosable election, written by those who brought you Hilary Clinton and Kamala Harris. At this point I'm starting to believe the DNC doesn't want the Whitehouse.
The Washington Post@washingtonpost
The 12 Democrats who make the most sense for 2028.

@mbrushstocks @WallStreetApes Technically only 32.3% if voter eligible Americans voted for him.
English

@WallStreetApes "The whole will of democracy is imbued into the elected president."
But what if only half the country voted for him? There is something wrong with your math here Stephen.
English

Stephen Miller gives a masterclass on the role of the President of the United States
“A president is elected by the whole American people. He's the only official in the entire government that is elected by the entire nation. Judges are appointed. Members of Congress are elected at the district or state level. Just one man and the Constitution, Article 2 has a clause known as the vesting clause, and it says the executive power shall be vested in a president, singular.
The whole will of democracy is imbued into the elected president. That president then appoints staff to then impose that democratic will onto the government. The threat to democracy, indeed the existential threat to democracy, is the unelected bureaucracy of lifetime tenured civil servants who believe they answer to no one, who believe they can do whatever they want without consequence, who believe they can set their own agenda no matter what Americans vote for.”
English

This takes a technical correctness to imply something is true which is not. The president is the only office in which all states participate at the same time -true, but: We use an electoral system not popular vote, with a first past the post voting system in most states, and..
You can win with only a small fraction of the nations support, which means the democratic will of the nation is often times not the same as presidential mandate. President Trump had 49.8% of the casted votes (less than half), and 32.3% of the total voting eligible population. He won because of our system, not because he represents the majority of the US, and that is an important distinction.
I'd be interested to see if he still would have won in a system that uses ranked choice voting and doesn't procedurally dismiss 3rd party candidates. I don't have a prediction I am just curious how it would have turned out.

@TimeCommandHQ Which means we are all already time travelers.

What if you’ve never really been told how movement actually works?
Here’s something wild that’s true in real physics:
When you move, you’re not just moving through space, you’re also moving through time.
And there’s a trade-off: the more you move through space, the less you move through time… and vice versa.
That’s why clocks on fast-moving spacecraft tick slower.
Speed steals time.
Now imagine you had full control over that movement “budget.”
Imagine you could completely stop moving through space…
And instead, use 100% of your movement to travel through time.
What would happen?
Well, here’s the kicker:
Earth is constantly moving, spinning, orbiting, shifting through the galaxy.
If you stay still in space but push forward in time… you end up in a different location anyway.
You’ve moved without moving.
Now let’s talk UAPs.
Those weird zig-zagging objects, instant accelerations, no sonic booms, no heat, no inertia…
Maybe they’re not breaking physics.
Maybe they’re just hacking the space-time budget.
If a craft could completely decouple from spatial motion, becoming “locked” in space and instead route all its movement through time, it could appear to jump or shoot across the sky.
But it’s not moving like we think, it’s letting the world move around it while it surfs the time field.
No inertia.
No resistance.
Just a smooth ride through time.
We’re not looking at magic.
We’re looking at a species that understands time better than we do.
And maybe… we’re not that far behind.

@DrPhiltill My biggest concern is not knowing what I should, can, or can't share to a random email request from someone outside to gov. No one is trying to hide. We just don't want to break laws.
English

Five bullets is a lot for most government jobs. Example: letter carriers.
1) delivered mail
2) delivered more mail
3) didn’t crash the mail truck
4) delivered more mail
5) didn’t crash the mail truck again
I mean, not every government job is about innovation.🙃
NASA Watch@NASAWatch
I am getting this from @NASA employees who have been got it hr@opm.gov. Apparently all government employees are getting it per Elon Musk.
English

@elonmusk The biggest source of waste in the government comes from legislation, regulations and policy related to contracts. Federal employees would actually be more than happy to help you fix this if you let us.
English

@Matthewtravis08 I understand the sentiment. Ultimately, the more divided we are, the easier we fall. As a fed employee myself, please be there for them. Demonstrate the values we fight for instead of confirming for them what they already believed. How you treat them is about who you are not them
English

@ShadowofEzra So I've watched this footage several times, and it seems clear to me that for whatever reason the right side rear landing gear collapsed on landing. Now I don't know if it was a hard landing or what, but somewhere someone should be looking at that.
English

The pilot behind the dramatic Delta crash that flipped a plane upside down at Toronto Pearson Airport has been identified as 26-year-old First Officer Kendal Swanson.
A Minnesota beauty pageant winner who completed her training just last April with under 1,500 flight hours.
The more experienced captain, James Henneman, was handling communications as Swanson piloted during the crash.
English

@RuttinBuckTX @ShadowofEzra People record this stuff all the time. You only saw this one because it caught an accident. You aren't seeing the thousands of others that get taken every week without issues. You can find hundreds of hours of that footage on YouTube.
English

@ShadowofEzra Any explanation as to why someone just happened to be filming this approach and landing?
Kinda like the 2 guys who just happened to video the Blackhawk flying a beeline into the jet.
Sus x 2
