We have 2 thoughts to share this National Park Service Founders Day. 1) Our National Parks are incredible treasures & deserve to be preserved. 2) Our summer interns (like Dez Miller who created this illustration) are also incredible treasures & deserve to be appreciated.

On this day in 1920, the 19th Amendment was ratified, giving women the right to vote. Though we have come so far, there is still work to do. May we take the spirit of these original Suffragettes with us as we continue to fight for women’s rights.
