Just six days until the NFL draft. Some odds that jumped out at me @FDSportsbook. 1. Ty Simpson is only -170 to be a 1st RD PK. Take it. 2. Jordyn Tyson (+200) as 1st WR selected is looking better by the minute 3. Carnell Tate (+600) to be No. 7 PK = great odds, too. #fdpartner

This reflects what I've been feeling all along for the Giants. And if it's Sonny Styles vs Caleb Downs, both are great players and potential picks. But I'd still lean toward the 6-5, 244-pound guy over the 6-0, 206-pound guy if I'm John Harbaugh.

I can see the #Cowboys moving up, but not to No. 3.
The ONLY way that makes sense is if the Cardinals would be willing to give back another Day 2 pick.
I think a smaller trade-up is far more likely.

If I had to guess today: 1. Raiders - Mendoza (put it in ink) 2. Jets - A Reese Yeah I’ve seen the recent everyone switching to Bailey. I’m not. 3. Cardinals - This is potentially the first trade out position. Would Dallas come up here for Bailey? We will pencil that in for now. 4. Titans - If Bailey is still on the board I believe he’d be the pick. If Bailey is gone, Styles, Love maybe Bain all gets looks. 5. Giants - Styles To me this feels like and either or. If Styles is here he seems obvious. If not, maybe Downs is Harbaugh’s new Kyle Hamilton. 6. Browns - Tate

@MHJxNolen @BillyM_91 they've only visited with 3 prospects that would be in contention to pick in the top 3 yet alone top 10.. Reese, Bailey and Love. Everyone else they've met with is a back half of r1/r2 guy. I think barring a trade it's pretty clear they take 1 of those 3

Are these going to be value trades? I find it really hard to believe teams are going to send nuclear offers back and forth, leveraging 2027 picks, for the top of this class of players.
But by all means, prove me wrong!

The expectation among many NFL teams is that the 2026 draft will be one of the more trade-heavy drafts in recent memory, according to multiple league sources. Specifically, on the defensive side of the ball — EDGE, CB and LB are all strong/deep — while WR is typically considered to be the most talented offensive position. Several executives I’ve spoken with believe we’re likely to see a flurry of activity in the first half of Round 1. Additionally, because this specific draft lacks depth in the later rounds, many teams plan to pursue extra Day 2 and early Day 3 picks, per league sources.

Ohio State WR Carnell Tate is visiting the Saints this week, according to a source.
Tate is 6-foot-2 and 192 pounds with a 78-inch wingspan. He caught 51 passes for 875 yards and 9 TDs in 2025, posting the best catch rate (77.3%) among the top receivers in this class despite running the deepest routes.
