It is utterly unjust to expect world-class results from a talent while refusing to pay global wages; simply because they’re based in Nigeria. It’s not wrong for a client to state their budget upfront; that’s actually good practice. And it’s equally fair for a talent to decide whether that budget works for them or not. That part is simple: alignment or no deal. I also understand the cost-of-living argument. Yes, living in Nigeria isn’t the same as living in the U.S. or Europe. There are real differences; subscriptions like Spotify, rent structures, general expenses; all of that varies, and it’s valid to acknowledge. That being said, compensation shouldn’t be anchored solely to geography when the expectation is global-standard output. If the work demands the same level of thinking, execution, and impact as anywhere else in the world, then the value being paid for should reflect the quality and outcome, not just the passport or location of the person delivering it. Because at that point, you’re not paying for “a Nigerian designer” or “a Nigerian developer” — you’re paying for expertise, experience, and results that compete on a global stage. And pricing purely based on location, while expecting global competitiveness, creates an imbalance that eventually undervalues the very thing you’re trying to benefit from. So yes; state your budget. But also be honest about the level you’re buying into. If you want global, industry-standard excellence, then the compensation should at least move in that direction too.

You had to be there. But let me try to put you in the room. 3 days. One auditorium. Overflow, not just the seats, the atmosphere itself. Something was different the moment you walked in. You could feel it before a single word was spoken. Then the Word came. Then the fire. 🔥👇

I’m starting to see that the gospel isn’t about forcing yourself to stop sinning, but about loving God so deeply that sin loses its appeal.

The FG should ban Network providers from putting expiry date on our data. You buy 20Gig at the price of 5k and at the date of expiration you have 8gig left. This is unacceptable!!! Network providers should allow us use what we paid for without an expiry date!!
