@shawna_a_vet Literally every MAGAt I know has spent years telling me how Democrats hate Israel / Republican support Israel
Israel convinced a Republican President to start unnecessary military campaign against Iran, and now it’s the Democrats fault for supporting Israel?
This is Gaslighting
English

@chutneylife The moment you take no smoking signs off airplanes, selfish idiots will justify lighting up on flights by saying “I don’t see a no smoking sign”
Also, people could smoke on airplanes back in the day (or Mad Men lied to us)

Top 5 overall re: sports movies
English

All time great movie. Where does it rank on your sports movie list?

April 7, 1989. A misfit Cleveland Indians team went on a run nobody saw coming. Major League hit theaters, directed by David S. Ward and starring Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen, Wesley Snipes, and Bob Uecker.

@nickimoraa Boss can say “your perfume is too strong”
HR can tell you “it’s offensive to others”
No one can tell you to stop using it
English

@luireigns Cody booking = not championship level
John Cena’s retirement tour was bungled
Over emphasis on the Samoan dynasty
Heyman + Rollins = predictable mistake
…just to name a few

@TonyLaneNV California costs more because it’s better
I’d rather pay more to live in California

@JoshPhillipsPhD Afternoons sound like day care (not school)

@SirBylHolte @RABF_Plissken When you can’t get the facts right it means your outrage is manufactured
- who’s paying you to post?
English

@RABF_Plissken yes the list is from AI but Nicolas Cage and Ed Harris are right at the beginning. Next time I'll factcheck the names.

1996’s “The Rock” is another fine example of what Feminist Hollywood won’t give us anymore.
The plot: Ed Harris and a rogue Marine unit seize Alcatraz and threaten to wipe out San Francisco with deadly VX nerve gas.
The government recruits FBI chemical weapons expert Nicholas Cage and the only man who ever escaped Alcatraz — Sean Connery — to sneak in and stop the attack.
Directed by Michael Bay, with a MANLY stacked cast:
Michael Biehn
William Forsythe
John Spencer
David Patrick Kelly
Xander Berkeley
Tony Todd
Doug Hutchison
Robert Wisdom
Paul Calderon
Tom Sizemore
No girlbosses, no lectures.
Just elite soldiers, ex-cons, and hard men doing an impossible mission under extreme pressure.
Production budget: $75,000,000.
Worldwide gross: $335,062,621.
7th highest–grossing film domestically that year.
Hollywood used to crank out 3-4 movies like this per year.
Now they WON'T.
Why do you suppose that is?

English

@Bestofsopranos Instead of killing Christopher he put together an intervention
English

@ronrule Creating a financial incentive for parents to pull their kids out of schools?
Like, tell me you hate education without saying the words “I want to raise my kids stupid”
English

@FilmzLoverz The “kissing cousins” storyline was the #1 problems, plus the third act was a bit of a mess. All the over-acting from Pacino (and the bad-acting from Coppola) only made things worse
English

@trulymuz McNulty / Avon / Stringer are the three most important characters in the first three seasons. None of them are featured in season four yet it’s the best season of the show. That’s one of the reasons why this is show is always on those “all-time” list. Great depth to the writing
English

@vrexec Guy who lived beneath me confronted me about the increased noise after my child was born. Long story short, he moved out of our building soon after
English

Something I don’t understand is how you can live in an apartment and complain about noise from your neighbors.
We have two kids under 10 and they’re always making noise. Older neighbors sometimes complain or bang on the floor or ceiling.
If you don’t like noise, then why are you living in a city or an apartment?
Go live in the middle of nowhere. Go live in a farm town in a big field. You chose the convenience of urban life… you have to accept that you’re living around other humans.
Get over it.

@MarketPalmer_ I’m a stay-at-home dad. My kid started daycare two afternoons a week at two years old. People in my life supported that decision, understanding how organized social activities are good for young kids. It’s also good help for separation anxiety after 2+ years of being with me 24/7
English

ME: Daycare is expensive, but worth it.
THEM: Why would you pay to have someone else raise your kids?
ME: They're not raising my kids, they're taking care of them while we work.
THEM: One of you should quit your job so you aren't handing your kids off to strangers each day.
ME: They're not strangers, they're professionals. And we'd have even less money if one of us stayed at home with the kids.
THEM: It shouldn't be about money, it should be about bonding with your kids.
ME: Kids need bonding with more than just their parents. Their daycare teachers and other kids at daycare are some of their best friends, and they're excited to go each day.
THEM: You're letting them get indoctrinated by today's education system and propaganda.
ME: They're literally learning colors, the ABCs, and how to count to 10.
THEM: Some parents just don't want to be parents!
ME: *stops arguing with a wall*

@JBondPersuader Q: Which one is “No Time To Die”?
A: The one where James Bond dies
English

@SerieFilmAfroUS Avon hired Brother Mouzone to protect Barksdale property
Stringer Bell manipulated Omar into attacking Brother Mouzone
This wasn’t the first time Stringer went his own way (DeAngelo’s death)
Brother Mouzone had a right to revenge
Avon couldn’t lose his connection to New York
