@sasajuric I disagree. Elixir is also about explicitness. If a function expects only a Foo struct and receives a Bar struct instead, it is an indication that something is wrong and you can get it at compile time. Unless you want to use polymorphism to receive any struct (or even a bare map)

I've seen multiple teams using pattern matching in Elixir to simulate types. My unsolicited advice on this technique: don't. You're welcome :-)

@sasajuric @kamilskowron @ksqio Nothing wrong, that is the way IMO. The main problem I see in those discussions about avoiding umbrella applications is that people think that everything, including pure business logic, should be inside a Phoenix application.
