I'm gonna cry. Just received a call from obgyn residents in a frenzy saying y'all have left something in the patient, there's lma left inside the patient. So I (anaesthesia resident) said that's not possible since the patient was intubated, no lma was used.

So my coJR runs down, asks the patient to open her mouth only to find a dislodged RT which had formed a loop in the posterior oropharynx😭 If this is the state of our future obgyns I don't want to have a child😭😭😭

So my anaesthesia friend was diluting some drug facing the crash cart trolley in an OT when suddenly her HOD asked her from behind "Are you happy?" She turned around startled and cluelessly asked "with life?"😭 to which her HOD gave a long stare and said "with vitals."
