@lioliosidise I think the lack of Jarvis and Janet as well as the use of the tower instead of the mansion is what caused this shift of tone. The tower is a workplace, the mansion is a home. Jarvis and Janet make it a family

The MCU added some cool concepts to the setting, like multiple bases around the world, but the MCU Avengers felt more like a task force/organization who sometimes hang out than a legit team of superhero friends.
