If Sibal asked time till 2024, give it at one go, why waste time? #Ayodhya Once again: If we wait for court to give a judgement, we will NEVER construct Ram Mandir. It has to be executive decision.

Over 300,000 people die of drowning each year. In order to protect society, it is now illegal to consume or possess water. Your government is also considering banning solid food, as it presents a needless choking hazard. You are not an adult. You are a baby. Eat the baby food.

“South Korea which is as big as Telangana has one sports university in just 30 acre campus. They won 16 Olympic gold medals. India with 140 crore population didn’t even get one! Are we not ashamed? Can’t Telangana win 32 gold medals at least?” A very powerful “sattar minute” kind of speech by Telangana CM Revanth Reddy today during the relaunch of Breakfast program. He wants children to aim for Olympic Gold Medals, but guess what is there in the breakfast menu?? Monday Dosa with chutney or Chapathi with curry Milk Tuesday Millet idli (2) with sambar Ragi jawa Wednesday Puri with aloo kurma Milk Thursday Millet idli (2) with sambar Ragi jawa Friday Millet upma or pongal with chutney Milk Saturday Bonda (2) with chutney Ragi Jawa This is the menu! No EGGS! Full carbs menu. There are umpteen cases of food adulteration in government schools, around 200 deaths. Not one new school has been built. Not one playground has been allotted. But yes, let’s question kids why there are no Gold Medals. PS: Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Trust will run these kitchens. So, am guessing eggs will never enter the breakfast menu?

I don't know who else to tell this to, so I am going to tell my story here. Every day is a struggle for a young business, but the last few months have been harder than usual. We are a small Indian company. For more than ten years we have been building a homegrown brand in a product category dominated by big foreign players. There are almost no Indian names in this space. We set out to be one. We started in 2014. Over the years we began making parts in India instead of just importing, and we started selling in the US, Dubai, Nepal, Malaysia and South Africa. We showed up at global trade fairs to represent an Indian brand on the world stage. In 2023 we changed the import code we use for our product. We did not do this quietly. Every shipment was declared. Nothing was hidden. We didn't invent our approach. We followed written professional advice and the way this product is treated in markets around the world. And now we are facing a government demand running into tens of crores in duty recovery and penalties, plus personal penalties on the founders and even on an employee. For a company our size, this is not a fine we can pay and move on from. This ends us. We have not run from any of this. I am not built like that. It is not how I was raised. We have written to the authorities, met officials in person, and we have now filed a writ in the High Court. All we are asking for is a fair treatment. I set out to build in India and sell to the world. I am asking only that the system back honest founders trying to compete globally, instead of breaking them. The process is the process, and it exists for a reason. But process should not feel like punishment. From where I am standing today, it does. I am not giving up. I have worked too hard for this. If you have read this far, please share it. If you know someone who can help, point them my way. Help me get the word out.

Indian telecom Reliance is sabotaging access to Telegram for millions of users OUTSIDE India (including the UAE) via a rogue method called BGP hijacking. The sabotage seems intentional, as Reliance has ignored multiple reports. This may be part of a competitive war, as Reliance is partially owned by Meta — the company behind WhatsApp. Network operators are advised to reject unauthorized BGP announcements from Reliance (AS18101) to prevent route hijacks and ensure stable Internet access for their users. Such abuse of global Internet routing is alarming. I wouldn’t be surprised if Reliance/WhatsApp were also behind the recent lobbying effort to ban Telegram in India.

Oh hello, @durov Nobody is using Telegram in India for messaging. Telegram is mostly used by scammers in India. Most financial fraud (Billions of dollars) in India happens through Telegram The Indian government should have banned Telegram years ago. It is long overdue. I’ve been noticing the same pattern for years. Almost every fraudster immediately moves to Telegram. it’s harder to trace, easier to operate. Calling this an internet freedom issue misses the point completely. Telegram became one of the preferred platforms for financial fraud, scam networks, betting groups, piracy, and other illegal activities in India.

In the last 60 years, Punjab has only managed Gurudwaras. Apart from that, nothing has happened there. After becoming a separate Punjabi State in 1966, it has failed to build even a single government medical college, has not been able to run even one kilometer of metro, and has not constructed even one kilometer of 6-8 lane expressway. It has built only 3 government universities. On the other hand, Haryana — which separated from this very Punjabi State empty-handed — has built 9 government medical colleges, 27 government universities, operationalized 81 kilometers of metro, and constructed 500 kilometers of 6-8 lane expressways.

Are these babus out of their minds? Why has the sword been removed from the uniform? Since when did the sword become a colonial-era vestige? Carrying a sword was an honour. What next? Put lathis in their hands?
