@thegautamkamath @AndrewCMyers @TmlrOrg I really don't see why a JSys ⭢ conference pipeline can't exist, either. Nothing in principle prevents it, and I like many things I've read about JSys.

Not having a journal to publish systems papers in creates an incentive not to do research where you build big, complex systems, because there is no venue to send the "full story" to. Structure induces culture.
