I testify that Jesus is the Christ. That He lives. That He loves each of us and wants the very best for us in the world and throughout eternity. I have listened to the voice of the Spirit bear record to me of this truth and nothing the world has can diminish this knowledge because it is pure light. I love the Lord Jesus. He is my salvation. He is my advocate with the Father. He is my friend.

If Galatians 1:8 bans new revelation, Paul broke his own rule every time he wrote another epistle.

If worshipping and following Jesus Christ as the divine Son of God, the risen Lord, and the only Savior of the world doesn't make "Mormons" Christian - then what does? 😂 What we reject is not Christ - but later Protestant and creedal formulations about authority, Trinity, and salvation That makes us non-Protestant, not non-Christian Hope this helps...

I believe we are all brothers and sisters eternally in this human experience we call life. I hope we can all treat each other with such respect. Views may differ, doctrine may differ, but we are all in this experience together. Love one another as Jesus asked us to.

@NicolasOwen1606 I’m happy to have people disagree with my beliefs. I certainly disagree with certain elements of others peoples belief systems. But I’ve never found a verse where Christ condones Christians mocking other people’s Christian beliefs.

If you think it’s”Christian” to mock someone’s sincerely held religious beliefs, then, yeah… I worship a different Jesus than you.

@RandomLDS All I gave was one example. You also see Paul doing it to the pantheon of Roman gods too. But as I said in my previous post there are MUCH better ways to go about preaching the Gospel than mocking religious thought.

The Trinity is a concept born from Greek philosophy and a political convention where people that didn’t agree with the outcome were branded heretics. It’s far removed from the Godhead that Christ taught. Most of mainstream Christianity has moved beyond this unknowable God. Only 16% of self‑identified Christians affirm the Trinity as defined by creedal orthodoxy. We worship the God the Jesus Christ worships - His literal Father and the Father of our spirits. We recognize the Christ born in Nazareth, who lived a perfect life, who suffered so all might live, who died and rose again on the third day. We claim Jesus Christ and God the Father visited the prophet Joseph Smith and restored His New Testiment church. Prophets again speak the will of the Lord.

@RandomLDS I believe that you do. You’re admitting finally but in a thinly veiled way. LDS is the only faith tradition that presents its own branded “book” to the masses. It’s a revisionist tale, not revelation. To deny the Holy Trinity is to deny Who all Three Persons of the Holy Trinity r

@badtothebone124 There’s example of good people making bad choices all through the scriptures. I don’t recall Christ teaching His followers to mock others.

@RandomLDS Elijah mocked the prophets of Ba'al and it was not held against him. But there are much better ways to engage than thru mockery of the sacred.

I was responding to a hater and it failed to send. Divine intervention. Probably a pearls before swine situation. This was my reply: We don't know anything about the exaltation of the Father, but we believe obtaining a body is something we all must do. There's something special about obtaining a physical body. Becoming more than just spirit. It's part of our eternal progression. Otherwise, Jesus would have just left His physical body behind when He died. We believe we are of the same species with God and that He wants us to have all that He has. It doesnt diminish His role. He will always be the Father. He will always be the Most High. Our theology pertaining to eternity is different too. We believe we existed even before we were spirit. Consciousness, intelligence (whatever you want to call it) is eternal. Uncreated. In that sense we are all eternal beings.

@RandomLDS Our Lord has shown intolerance for false or distorted worship, both of Him and when wrongly given to false gods. Making fun of or belittling the person for incorrect beliefs isn’t okay, but mocking the fake religion itself is surely righteous.

@realKellyKnight @olgringoHancock It’s funny because studies have shown that only 16% of self‑identified Christians affirm the Trinity as defined by creedal orthodoxy. Yet if you believed the creedalists here on X, it’s a hard requirement to be a Christian.

47,000 sects claiming to be Christian don't even agree on all of these points. They may be what your pastor or preacher teaches, and some that congregation may accept that preaching. But I bet that there is a significant number of people who go to any one of these 47,000 congregations each week who, for wanting to save face, agree outwardly, but inwardly wonder after the truth, they just don't know where to find it.
Danny@Truth_matters20

I love Mormons, but I will not lie to them and pretend that their religion is Christianity. Their religion does NOT accept these truths: 1. The Bible is the only word of God 2. God's nature is triune 3. Jesus is eternal & wasn't created 4. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ alone.

@RandomLDS You already worship a different Jesus. One that never existed. Also, might wanna give Elijah's encounter with the Baal worshippers. He mocks them really good.

We do not believe in the trinity. We believe in the Christ that lived in the meridian of time, that worshiped God the Father, that atoned for our sins, that died on the cross and rose the third day. We strive to follow Him and are His. We are Christian. Anyone who takes up their cross, believes in Christ as the literal Son of God, and strives to follow Him are Christians, regardless of their denomination.

Tell that to Hinckley: "The traditional Christ of whom they speak is not the Christ of whom I speak. For the Christ of whom I speak has been revealed in this the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times. He together with His Father, appeared to the boy Joseph Smith in the year 1820, and when Joseph left the grove that day, he knew more of the nature of God than all the learned ministers of the gospel of the ages.'" - President Gordon B. Hinkley

Dad Moves "Five minute windows" Carve out some time each week to give each child a few dedicated minutes of your time. Maybe its five minutes. Maybe it's more. No agenda. Not "hot topics". No bringing up the spilled milk from two days ago. Just individual focused Dad time.
