Just watched Bone Lake (which is unhinged btw) and I think Alex Roe should be doing more scary movies in the future! I've only ever seen him as a leading man in Forever My Girl and The 5th Wave and that mermaid show I was obsessed with in 2018 but he was so good in this movie!

A lot of people get on my ass for having this film on my Letterboxd top 4 but idrc. This film got me back into horror/films when I was such in a slump. This movie was beautiful yet so creepy, filed with tense unsettling moments with one of my favorite plot twist ever happening in this as well. Naomi Scott not only put on the performance of a lifetime but she solidifies herself as a horror icon with just one movie.

#HesWatchingYou has very good cinematography and the killer is abrupt, wastes no time and has an interesting weapon of choice. However, the cast lacked chemistry with each other making them all uninteresting to watch; also had difficulty maintaining momentum. ⭐ 6/10

Decided to watch #TheBuccaneers cuz I wanted to see what Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Imogen Waterhouse and Josie Totah were up to and I ended up enjoying it more than I should! As someone who enjoyed the hell out of Reign, I love how anachronistic this is! They just don't gaf!
