@TaftCreates I dunno, I've seen some iffy lines of code before... they start off just fine but then they get compiled and who knows what they're thinking now.

This headline and the article are very academically dishonest. An algorithm isn't a magic spell. Algorithms are made by people and people have biases. The transitive property then says that algorithms have biases.
