Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has been named the 2025 AP Defensive Player of the Year at NFL Honors tonight.
It’s the second AP DPOY award for Garrett, who broke the NFL’s single-season sack record. Garrett got all 50 first-place votes.

The Jim Schwartz and Todd Monken second interviews are under the guise of “hey, if we brought in another HC candidate, would you be willing to stay on staff/come on staff as DC/OC respectively?” I’d also wager they get an in person interview with Grant Udinski and Nathan Scheelhaase, the latter satisfying the Rooney Rule, opening the door for the hire. @ohiotate I'd put Jonathan Rodriguez final at-bat ahead of it. 0-0 count, bottom of the 9th, runner on 3rd, and no outs. Swinging at off-speed in the dirt is unacceptable. The pitcher is looking for a weak grounder, pop-up, or K. See the ball up and at WORST you're swinging for a sac fly.
