Iowa big man Alvaro Folgueiras has entered the transfer portal.
The 6'10 junior averaged 8.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists this past season.
Kentucky was the favorite throughout his recruitment last year until he committed to Iowa.
Dedan Thomas has shot 62% at the rim and a respectable 34.3% from three during his career. Undersized with a strong assist/turnover ratio. Some stat comps at KenPom were Kemba Walker (2011) and Trey Burke (2012).

Pope’s deal also includes strong protection in the event of termination. If Kentucky were to fire him without cause, the school would owe 75% of his remaining guaranteed compensation. Following the Sweet 16 extension, that figure is estimated at approximately $18 million in remaining salary, meaning a buyout of roughly $13.5 million, according to USA TODAY Sports.
"At the end of the day, I think the [Kentucky] fan base needs to temper their expectations, Mark Pope has this thing going in the right direction."

How on earth did he decide that Jasper should be back in this game?!? And then claps when he inevitably fucks up and turns it over again.
Kentucky has scored 20 points in the last 20 minutes of the game
