Every single flight into/out of Reagan National Airport (DCA) has been cancelled because of the snow/ice. The airport tells me all 8 airlines that serve DCA have officially called off flights for Sunday. @nbcwashington

BREAKING - Maryland Transportation officials will vote on a plan to build two new 4 lane spans across the Chesapeake Bay and REMOVE the existing Bay Bridge spans. The vote is expected Thursday. If the plan goes forward, construction could start 2032. @nbcwashington

Making this ABUNDANTLY clear - a plane did not crash at Dulles International Airport. A United Airlines 777-200 made an emergency landing after experiencing engine failure during departure. The smoke you see was caused by a brush fire, which is now out.

HEARTBREAKING 💔: A motorcade leaves Medstar Washington Hospital, transporting the remains of Specialist Sarah Beckstrom - one of the West Virginia National Guard troops shot in DC yesterday. She unfortunately succumbed to her injuries earlier this evening. Pray for her family 🙏

🙏 SPOTTED AT MEDSTAR HOSPITAL: National Guard prays outside emergency room. Inside the hospital right now are the two National Guard troops who were shot near the White House earlier today. They’re in critical condition.

UPDATE— FAA tells NBC News that arrivals are being held but departures are being allowed at DCA at this time.

DCA GROUND STOP DUE TO SECURITY: Reagan National Airport (near Washington DC) is under a ground stop. A short distance away, two National Guard members were reportedly shot near the White House.
