Yet another example of Courtney taking a word entirely out of context to justify his relentless partisan campaign against Premier Smith. She said she wished she could direct judges to not grant bail to accused murderers like Justin Bone, who is on trial for second-degree murder in the 2022 deaths of two men in Edmonton’s Chinatown. She noted that bail rules are a federal jurisdiction so the province can’t really do anything except advocate for tougher sentencing rules. And somehow Courtney’s click bait post makes it sound like she wants to take over the court system and direct judges indiscriminately. Please Courtney, at least try and be accurate if non-partisanship isn’t an option for you
