@BetBevan Will get someone to collect at Cheltenham, thanks
If you want transferring beforehand hand let me know or whoever collects will
Give you cash
@GURNEY2@BookieBaz Question is you go into a shop they charge you wrong do you tell them or not. It’s the same you collect a bet it gets thrown out, give it back, agree to disagree you have on view mines different let’s leave it there
@BookieBaz@RobertSimmonite I can appreciate that bookmakers don't want to be paying out twice but I just think it's just part of their trade. If I laid somebody a bet and paid them out and their winner then got disqualified, I wouldn't ask for it back.
After another debacle of a late stewards call at Hamilton today I really feel the system needs an overhaul🤷♂️. I’ve said it before but a cry of ‘Hold all bets’ should be announced immediately, over the tannoy, when there is any likelihood of wrong doing. Simple as👍
@GURNEY2@BookieBaz Perhaps on course should rip off punters with a slots machine next too the pitch, and bet too a ridiculous %, could also ban winning punters, then you can have double result, glad I don’t associate with someone or company of that character
@RobertSimmonite@BookieBaz Fair enough Robert, then I am of bad character. I have been overpaid - off course not on - and not returned the monies and I'm not going to pretend that I wouldn't do so again. They pay both results these days though, perhaps they are nicer characters than those on course 😉
@RobertSimmonite@BookieBaz I find it strange that you should consider me to be of bad character just because I am of the opinion that bookies should not expect punters to return winnings paid after an amended result ? They'll prob gain more by paying early and not expecting punters to return winnings.
@GURNEY2@BookieBaz On course punters have never had it so good, competitive prices , can get on too decent amounts, don’t think normal people realise that if someone over pays for a bet 95% of bookmakers will chase that person down and give them the money back, small victory. Shows bad character
@BookieBaz@RobertSimmonite The punter loses in the long run - either that or you'd have long since changed trades. Getting paid incorrectly is a small victory for the punter and I'm fairly sure bookies don't pay early if they think the result could be changed and certainly not large mounts ?
