The term "doctor" as applied to a doctor of social work and a doctor of physics are homonymous but distinct words, with sharply distinct meanings. The usage of similar sounding words to mean two very different things can only be explained historically.

Noticed a decline in how often I heard about eating disorders in women - anorexia, bulimia - just as the transgender fad rose. Wouldn’t be surprised if they had some of the same roots. Dissatisfaction with their bodies, self esteem issues, need for control.

The british game show must always contain a segment where the contestants attempt to explain what they do to the host. Although this serves no intrinsic purpose and viewers find it tedious, it is necessary so that their class position can be accurately ascertained
